Tomorrow I leave for Ottawa :D I will let everyone know how that goes and just why I am going there when I reach my destination at around 9:00pm. I just thought I would post a little tease while I am waiting for some files to transfer to my jump drive.
Anyways, had a lot of fun with Jordon and Leigh-Amber tonight. We watched Madagascar 2 with Branden and Keith, went to Timmie's, hung out at Jordon's sister's house and played some Guitar Hero/pre-drank some Sour Puss and Alexander Keith's, rolled around in said sister's bed then hit up the bar and ESSO for some treats and a Colts ;)

I probably shouldn't have asked but I did. You like(d?) me too. I lied and said that some of me still likes you but you're smart enough to see through that...you have to know you consume the part of me that loves. If life was like a movie I would drive to you right now and never look back. Ever. But life for me isn't a romantic comedy, it's more like Hamlet where everyone dies at the end...everyone important anyway.
I hope what you said about us being together a possibility is true. I'll wait as long as this feeling lasts.
Even if we are with other people you'll be always be in the back of mind because I think - I know - we work together.

I've never read this webcomic but the girl needs help. She is trying to raise $15,000.00 for corrective surgery on her jaw. When she was 14 she had an accident that resulted in a fractured jaw. Unfortunately, no on took x-rays and now she risks losing all of her teeth. The American Health Care System isn't the greatest, especially for those who make too much to be eligible for State help but too little to afford costly surgeries themselves. Either way, the girl needs help and I know not many of us are in a position to give (most of you are at school) still, I thought I would post this just to generate some interest and maybe a donation or two. I am going to save my tips from work and donate to the cause when I can. Hey, if you donate $25.00 + you get a cute shirt - incentive :)
Anyway, hope everything is going good for everyone else. I'm still here, I'm still reading, I'm just not posting :P Way to much is going on for me to do anything regularly - I'm trying to get my marks up for bursaries and I have to prepare for the big move. I'M GOING TO TRENT COME FALL :D My number one university and I was picked :D For anyone interested, I am taking an anthropology major with a specialization in archaeology.

1. How did you first get involved with Earth's Children and The Clan RPG?: Well actually I was around seven or eight when I became very interested in anthropology and the like...you know the whole archeology phase. My aunt Rochelle then told me about this book which she said was 'very good', but she was unsure if I was old enough to handle the sexual nature of it. Anyway, long story short my grandma took me to the library a few days later and it was on one of those 'used books for sale' tables so my grandma bought it for me. I tried to read it but I swear I have ADD so I never actually finished it until grade 8. I was at my aunt's house for summer vacation and she took me to Coles Bookstore and I decided to buy it again...I think the other copy got thrown out or I just didn't like the oldness of it, I can't remember which. So I read it, I loved it, and I googled it and that's how I found The Clan RPG.
2. Which is your favorite book of the series and why? Definitely the first one although the second one is really good too. I just love the world Auel creates in the first one. Very hard to explain really but I love Creb, Isa and most of all the totems/names and imagery. The other books really became to centered sex...it's like just caveman porn and Jonayla.....*ugh*.
3. Which of *your* characters is your favorite, and why? Kata is my favourite. I think it is because she is the most like me and because she can smile, lol. I wish you hadn't asked me this question, I love Boda and Roba too. Viksa I could take or leave because she is such a bitch but I love her for that, haha and it's always fun to play a whore. I think I also like playing out the relationship between her and Lok that and her totem is the swallow *snort*
4. What are your college/career/loafing plans? I don't know what I want to do anymore. I feel really dumb at the moment. I always wanted to be a virologist but I don't think I am smart enough to do it. I've always wanted to be a genius and apparently my I.Q. is in the 150's but I just feel really really dumb. That and I can never actually pick just one thing. I want to be an anthropologist, a linguist, a writer, a doctor, and a medic :). If I could though I would just travel the world and listen to people's stories.
5. What is your life's purpose? Honestly, I think it's to be lonely but make other people feel good about themselves. I can always make other people happy through my hurt...I think there has to be a purpose to that. That is actually mildly depressing but...

Simba's home :D I'm pretty happy...for the most part. He has acute pneumonia as it turns out, ... he caught chlamydia from one of the cats at the shelter. I think I mentioned this before, he also has mega-esophagus...he was born with a giant fucking food tube lol. So now he is on this ritzy anti-chlamydia antibiotic and an order for more drugs is coming up from Guelph. He also has to eat elevated because of his mecha-gob but, being the wiener that he is he just picks the food out of the dish and throws it on the floor and eats it that way. Such a wang. Not only that, this little Tiamese shit refuses to crap IN the kitty litter, he shits ON it. All down the side *cries*. LOL, but he's so cute... it could be worse, I could own Steve's Nugget...I swear that cat is Satan reincarnate. He puked all down the hallway this morning, lol...EXORCIST.

We've decided to adopt an 18 month old siamese/tabby mix called Simba from the Elliot Lake S.A.D. We were going to make it official on Monday but yesturday he developed a sneeze. Today it got worse and he began to wheeze, cough, and foam. I called an emergency number and managed to get him to a vet in Espanola at 7:30pm tonight. I drove about moch-10. It turns out our little baby has aspiration pneumonia. He vomited the other day and apparently when he did he managed to get some into his lungs. Simba is now in an oxygen tank and is in the hands of a very capable vet who has so generously (and compassionately) stayed up all night running blood tests and x-rays on the poor thing; he has even waved the costs. Simba still might not make it though at this is a life threatening illness. My little buddy really needs help right now so PLEASE, prayers/good energy....ANYTHING. I want to bring Simba home...Sheldon misses him and so do we.

There is no such thing as Ebola Gabon, where the hell did you come up with that! Every strain that has ever hit Gabon was of the sub-type Zaire. GABON IS NOT A SUB-TYPE!!! SO DIE!!!
I would like to point out that there are only 4 known sub-types of Ebola, those include:
Reston (can cause infection but does not kill*)
Cote d'Ivory (only 2 known cases, both non-fatal)
Sudan (second highest mortality with a mortality rate as high as 65%)
Zaire (easily the most fatal with a mortality rate reaching upwards of 100%)
Marburg, its sister (not classified as a sub-type) is also extremely fatal...hmmm but no where in there did I see Gabon. That could be because it DOESN'T EXIST.

Dear Higher Power,
I know suicide is frowned upon, but sometimes people hurt. A lot. Your trapped in you're own body and there doesn't seem to be a way out. Not out of your situation, not out of yourself. There doesn't seem to be any way to describe how you feel and no one can relate. I know your benevolent and not judgmental, no matter what any 'follower' says. I know you would never condemn anyone for taking their own life. Sometimes it doesn't seem like life is a gift, no matter what you try to make of it. I know you will take him and hold him to you, because that is what you do. Whatever he was feeling I know you have wiped away and I know he is happy now. I only hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for the things I said about him and I would like to congratulate you on your latest and greatest addition. Please take care of him, he deserves it.
